I've never blogged before so I'm kind of excited to see how long I can last doing this. I've been itching to write things so maybe this will be the place. I'll be writing random thoughts, stories, book/movie reviews, and random fandomcasms that I have. Mainly Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, and Doctor Who/Torchwood ones. :)
Recommended Book That I've Recently Read: The Road by Cormac McCarthy
You might have already seen the movie, The Road, with Viggo Mortensen. Seriously, check out the book. I mean McCarthy's writing creates such an eerie, desolate world that just strings you in. The way McCarthy writes and the dialogue just makes everything even more desolate and hopeless. He creates a world that is so real and could even be our future if things go the wrong way. His words convey so much emotion in so little words. He's an amazing writer. The Man and the Boy are characters I'll remember for the rest of my life. ~ Be warned. Some things aren't easy to stomach. -Kira
